I'm no Chef.

I cannot express my love for a 3 day weekend.. and it's not over yet.. ONE MORE DAY! yay.

Friday, I got off work early @ 12:30. I was so excited!! The boys and I came home and cleaned the house before our long weekend.. (its already a mess again.. hehe) But Chris started working at Salsa's Grill again, to make some extra money. The boys and I decided to go see Nana and Papa on Friday night. Nana had picked out pizza for dinner. Well I didn't know we were gonna make homemade pizza! (my first time.. I'm not a chef) lol Well, we had fun!!

Saturday was just a fun Saturday. Got up and went to some garage sales. found nothing. :) like usual. haha But we ate breakfast at the Cozy Kitchen. has to be my favorite breakfast place. yummy!!

pancakes are as big as the plate,  this fed me, Khi & Miah.. with pancakes to spare!!!

Chris had to work again Saturday night so the boys and I had a mini photoshoot. I didn't wanna clean, watch movies, or play games. So we went outside and took some pics. I let them take some of me, they love to be in charge. lol I love those boys. 

I also scored some new shoes Saturday for $13!! 

I seriously don't like Chris new work schedule! He had to work Sunday morning and didn't get home til after 4. That leaves us just missing and waiting on daddy all day long. I hate that he is working so much again.. I know it will benefit us but gosh, we miss him.. :(

Well I attempted to make pancakes. Chris usually makes them.. I can never get them right. Well here is my first 2 attempts....... don't LAUGH!

ok, I'd laugh too, they look like scrambled eggs! hahaha

Needless to say, I finally got the groove down!! They turned out pretty fancy, if I do say so myself. 

(reminder: I'm no chef) obviously. 

After Chris got home we just relaxed spent time with daddy and watched movies. My kind of night. Of course, Chris isn't off tomorrow for Labor Day, The boys and I are going to my dads for a cookout. We really wish Daddy could come with us. 

I did get to spend some time with Daddy! I love him!!
