Seriously, no pain, no gain. I have decided its time to do something about this BODY. ha. Its getting outta control.. lemme tell ya. Last night was the first night in a while that I decided to "work out" and it wasn't even really working out. I can't afford a gym membership so I'm doing this from home. I decided to take control and do stuff to take care of myself. I have been drinking water like no other, hoping that will help. I'm not as concerned about my weight, I'm more concerned about dropping pant sizes. I want to change my shape and get more toned. I am really NOT searching to have the best binki body like everyone else. I just want to feel better, look better and my clothes to fit. I don't want to flaunt my body off like I am 16 again, I am a mother and you can tell by the stretch marks I have. I love them because they brought me my 2 gorgeous boys! Since I have been increasing my water consumption during the day I have had much more engery. I feel GREAT. I stopped drinking pop, big step for me. I love pop! haha In efforts towards getting in shape and doing better I had some apps on my iPhone that i downloaded, I believe last year.. haha. Well I just chose free ones and they work. I did Daily Butt workouts for 10 minutes last night and seriously I was so sore getting up and down at work today! I'm pathetic. :( But I know that if I have pain its a good thing. Tonight I'm going to start on the Jillian Michaels Slim Down App. I hope I can do it. She gives you great advice, awesome recipies and movtiation quotes to help you succeed. I can't wait to get started. I talked to my boss about it today, I told her that I wish that I liked to run and she suggested to do 5 minutes of Cardio and everytime you do it do a little more til I liked it. I think that its a good start for me, I had running due to being pushed so hard in high school to run.. line drills. Thats what I think of when running comes to mind. But I think if I put my music on and its me and the road, I think eventually I'll like it. Hopefully. I think once I get started on working out and going good at it, I'll start working out in the mornings. Im so not a morning person. That will be hard for me.. so I will work up to that. :) I have dovoted a whole page on my iPhone to my fitness. Nike Training Club is also a great app for working out. I have a lot to choose from so hopefully it helps me on my road to fitness.

Well Tuesday night the boys got birthday money in the mail from my dad and step-mom. They were SO excited about getting mail! Well of course we had to go to Wal-Mart to spend the gift cards. The boys already knew what they wanted. They have been wanting Bey-blades for a while now, thanks to netflix! lol So guess what they got. All I hear now is "Bey-blade, bey-blade let it rip!!!!!" hahaha. and "lets battle" oh heavens! :) joys of boys!
OH, awesome NEWS.. Chris got the job! woot. He starts on the 6th! I'm so happy for him!!! yay.
now, to go get my fitness on! :D
Those apps look fun! i may join you.. I think God always has something up his sleeve and he obviously had better plans for chris! so happy for you =)
ReplyDeleteGood for you Lara. My mom and I were talking tonight and she told me if I wanted to do WW she would go with me and pay for it. I can't wait we should go to the park sometime and walk together after work.
